Who We Are
Our names are Ty and Mary Martin. We have lived in Boise, ID since 2020. We fell in love with Boise because of the abundance of outdoor recreational activities. We enjoy rock climbing, running, cycling, hiking, camping, kayaking, and so much more. We love that Boise, ID has enough resources to satisfy all these recreational loves of ours.
The idea for Outdoor Boise came from a need we had when we first moved here. We noticed there are a lot of resources for individual activities, but no central way to find them. We built this site as a way to host all of Boise's outdoor recreational resources and information to make it as easy as a click of a button for you to find your next adventure.

Outdoor Boise is a central hub for everything outdoors in the Boise, Idaho area. There are so many resources available here that it can often be overwhelming when choosing how you want to go adventure in The Treasure Valley - that's where we come in! We help you get outside by providing information on activities like paddling, climbing, hiking, fishing, biking, snowshoeing and more!
Our goal is three fold;
1. To create a central way for others to connect with outdoors as the central focus.
2. To have a place to educate about the numerous recreational activities Idaho has to offer and gain respect for the outdoors
3. To support and give back to our incredible community and the outdoor playground we all love so much.
